On September 7, 2022, Guangzhou Sailong was entrusted by Southwest Hospital to complete the delivery of two personalized tantalum acetabular pads. Both cases were adolescent developmental dysplasia of the hip with DDH. The objective of the treatment of DDH with tantalum acetabular pad is to achieve concentric reduction of the hip joint, provide good conditions for the development of the femoral head and acetabulum, and prevent the ischemic necrosis of the femoral head. In Addition , the pads were designed with a fully porous structure with a circle of solid nail hole. The porous bone trabecular biomimetic structure has the advantages of large contact area, good mechanical properties and biocompatibility, and the elastic modulus is similar to that of human bone, which can ensure the long-term stability of the prosthesis after implantation.The DDH acetabular pad has been the largest number of cases delivered to Southwest Hospital, and the mature printing process and post-processing scheme of election-beam melting 3D printing technology independently developed by Sailong can achieve rapid response within 48 hours from printing to delivery, To ensure the orderly operation to the maximum extent, highlight the social responsibility of the enterprise and the ability to respond to emergencies.
