The production Technology Department completed the printing of 316L stainless steel 3D printing specimen. In order to obtain the solid surface with high flatness, the forming process of 316L stainless steel was explored in the early stage. Due to the poor conductivity of the powder material, the charge accumulates under the action of the electron beam, and spatter occurs under the repulsive force of the same charge, and because of the increase of spatter, the morphology of the melting surface deteriorates. In order to improve the morphology of the upper surface of the forming parts, the powder bed preheating method was used to add the secondary strengthening method, and then the high-power electron beam was used to make the material remelt and fully flow and infiltrate. Compared with single pass scanning, this method does not cause additional burning of main elements and can obtain a relatively compact flat surface.
