Metal powders are flammable substances and present a risk of combustion and dust explosion. In addition, metal dust is easy to cause flying, harmful to people's health. If the production, processing and handling process encountered fire situation, All staff must be careful not to disturb the powder to prevent the combustion material from ejecting or small explosion. Only correct and standard powder operation can ensure personal safety. The basic requirements for safe use of powder are as follows:

(1)Production sites shall not be set up in dangerous buildings or illegal buildings; The production site has two or more direct outdoor safety exits, and the evacuation door is opened outward to ensure smooth passage. Safety pre-evaluation shall be carried out for new construction, reconstruction or expansion of powder processing plant (workshop).

(2) In thunder, rain, wind and other weather, the doors and Windows of the factory and warehouse should be closed to prevent the product from dampness and dust flying. Gas, temperature, pressure and other instruments should be regularly checked and verified.

（3）Mechanical ventilation and dust removal should be adopted, and relatively independent ventilation and dust removal devices should be installed and dust collection facilities should be set (direct discharge is strictly prohibited, cloth bag or wet dust collection device is recommended). Dust collection facilities should be set in the exposed place of the building, and the dust collected should be not less than 6 meters away from the open fire. The recovered dust should be stored in independent stacking places.

（4） Fire fighting equipment and personal labor protection equipment shall be equipped according to different operating conditions and environments. Equipped with 1 cubic meter of fire sand, fire sand must be used to extinguish fire when inflammable and explosive dust is burned, and dust clouds should be prevented from being raised when extinguishing the fire. Do not use ordinary fire extinguishers.

(5)When loading, unloading and transportation after powder packaging, light loading and unloading should be done, and dust should not float or leak. Do not drop, bump, hit, drag, dump and roll. All wheeled containers and containers loaded carts, automatic loading and unloading vehicles, etc., shall be static grounded.There should be no unproductive flame in the warehouse.
