Product introduction

Our company's spherical powder is prepared by the plasma rotary electrode atomized process. We have different particle size of powder, which widely used in many fields, like laser cladding, spraying, PM, HIP, etc. Inconel 718 superalloy (short for IN718) has been used in aero engines for half a century, since INCO Huntington Alloys (now known as Special Meatals Co.) were invented in America in the early 1960s and used in the manufacture of turbine parts. IN718 has become the most widely used nickel-based superalloy material in aero engine history. The unique alloy composition design of IN718 gives it excellent comprehensive properties, namely high strength, creep resistance and fatigue life, especially at temperatures below 650℃, with excellent mechanical stability. Many parts and components of modern aero-engines, such as turbine discs, blades, brakes, shafts, stators, seals, supports, pipes and fasteners, are made of IN718.

The production process of PREP

A) The working speed of PREP is greatly increased, the powder sphericity has reached more than 95%, and the yield of fine powder has been significantly increased.

B) The oxygen increment of active metals such as titanium alloy is controlled within 100ppm, while the oxygen increment of metals such as high-temperature alloys can reach 50ppm.

C) The rod feeding of end surface is heated by plasma arc to melt into liquid.

D) the liquid is ejected and crushed into fine droplets by the centrifugal force of high-speed rotation of the electrode.

E) The droplets eventually form a spherical powder under the action of surface tension in the condensation process.
