On November 18, 2022, entrusted by Southwest Hospital, the company completed the printing of two tantalum metal rods.The tantalum rod is a cross screw structure, and the screw part is a porous structure with a certain thickness. Due to the advantages of the porous structure of the porous bone, the elastic modulus is similar to the human bone, and the porous structure design can effectively reduce the weight and it is more beneficial to the bone cell in the implant and the long-term stability of the prosthetic body. The structural design of tantalum rods gives full play to the advantages of additive manufacturing, breaks the limitations of traditional manufacturing of reduced materials, and shows the advantages of personalization on the basis of ensuring safety.
