Product introduction
Our company's spherical IN718 powder is prepared by the plasma rotary electrode atomization process. Consumable electrode made of IN718 alloy, whose end surface is heated by plasma arc to melt into liquid, and the liquid is ejected and crushed into fine droplets by the centrifugal force of high-speed rotation of the electrode. The droplets eventually form a spherical powder under the action of surface tension in the condensation process. High purity and good sphericity of powder widely used in laser cladding, surface coating.Inconel 718 superalloy (short for IN718) has been used in aero engines for half a century, since INCO Huntington Alloys (now known as Special Meatals Co.) were invented in America in the early 1960s and used in the manufacture of turbine parts. IN718 has become the most widely used nickel-based superalloy material in aero engine history. IN718's unique alloy composition design gives it excellent overall properties, namely high strength, creep resistance and fatigue life, good ductility, excellent oxidation resistance, especially at temperatures below 650℃, and excellent mechanical stability. Many parts and components of modern aero-engines, such as turbine discs, blades, brakes, shafts, stators, seals, supports, pipes and fasteners, are made of IN718.
