Printing machines
The acetabulum is located in the center of the lateral side of the hip bone, and it is a hemispherical deep concave with a diameter of about 30-50mm. The surface is covered with hyaline articular cartilage about 2mm thick, and it is distributed in a half-moon shape. In the center is the acetabulum, which is not covered by cartilage and is filled by the Harvard gland. It can extrude or inhale the joint fluid as the pressure increases or decreases in the joint to maintain the pressure balance in the joint. The annular articular labrum at the edge of the acetabulum deepens and widens the acetabulum, allowing the acetabulum to accommodate the majority of the femoral head in a stable position, enhancing the stability of the hip joint.
